NSF Player Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026

NSF Player is a music player for Mac, iPhone, and iPad, maintained by Memtimen. This policy explains how the app handles information.

Information on your device

The app stores imported music, artwork, album and track information, favorites, playback history, and settings on your device to provide playback and library management. Files and images you select, paste, or drop into the app are used for those actions. NSF Player does not require a separate app account.

Optional iCloud sync

iCloud sync is off by default. If you enable it, the app uses Apple's CloudKit service to store music files, artwork, album and track information, favorites, and sync metadata in your iCloud account's private database and sync them across your devices. Sync metadata includes file fingerprints, modification times, deletion markers, and an app-generated identifier used to resolve changes between devices. It is not used for advertising or tracking.

Playback position, recent playback times, and audio settings are not synced by this feature. The developer does not receive your library through a developer-operated server. Apple's processing of iCloud information is subject to Apple's privacy policy.

Downloads and external links

If you download music, import artwork from a web address, or open an external link, your device connects to the relevant third-party service. That service receives your IP address, requested URL, and ordinary network request information and may retain access logs under its own privacy policy. Local playback does not require these requests. The app does not send your library to music download or artwork websites.

Analytics, advertising, and sharing

NSF Player does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. The developer does not collect your music library or playback activity for analytics, sell personal information, or track you across apps or websites. Apple may process App Store or system diagnostics under your Apple settings and its privacy policy.

Your choices and data retention

You can remove albums from the app and turn off iCloud sync in Settings. Turning sync off preserves both the local library and existing iCloud data. When sync is enabled, album removals propagate to your other synced devices after successful synchronization; this is not a complete erasure of stored sync records. The current implementation retains deletion markers and related library data in sync records and may retain local cached files to support synchronization.

Deleting the app does not automatically delete its iCloud data or backups you exported. To remove iCloud data, use Apple's iCloud storage controls where available; for assistance, contact the developer below. Exported backups and source files remain wherever you saved them until you delete them yourself. Please avoid sending private music files or sensitive personal information with support requests.

Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated effective date. For privacy questions or deletion assistance, contact memtimen@gmail.com.

If you email the developer, your email address and the information you voluntarily provide are used to respond to your request. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve and follow up on your request or meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of support correspondence by email. Please avoid sending private music files or sensitive personal information.

This policy page is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process visitor network information to operate the website. The page contains no analytics scripts, cookies set by this page, or external fonts.

可选的 iCloud 同步

iCloud 同步默认关闭。开启后，App 使用 Apple 的 CloudKit 服务，将音乐文件、封面、专辑和曲目信息、收藏及同步元数据存入你 iCloud 账户的私有数据库，并在你的设备间同步。同步元数据包括文件指纹、修改时间、删除标记，以及 App 生成的用于合并设备间修改的标识符；不用于广告或跟踪。

此功能不同步播放位置、最近播放时间和音频设置。开发者不会通过自行运营的服务器接收你的音乐库。Apple 对 iCloud 信息的处理适用 Apple 隐私政策。

下载与外部链接

下载音乐、通过网络地址导入封面或打开外部链接时，设备会连接相应第三方服务。该服务会收到 IP 地址、请求的网址和常规网络请求信息，并可能根据其隐私政策保留访问日志。本地播放无需这些请求。App 不会将音乐库发送给音乐下载或封面网站。

统计、广告与信息共享

NSF Player 不包含广告、第三方使用统计或第三方崩溃报告 SDK。开发者不会收集音乐库或播放活动用于统计，不出售个人信息，也不跨 App 或网站跟踪你。Apple 可能根据你的 Apple 设置和其隐私政策处理 App Store 或系统诊断信息。

你的选择与数据保留

你可以在 App 中移除专辑，并在设置中关闭 iCloud 同步。关闭同步会保留本机音乐库和已有的 iCloud 数据。开启同步时，移除专辑会在同步成功后传播至其他已同步设备，但不代表完整擦除保存的同步记录。当前实现会在同步记录中保留删除标记及相关音乐库数据，也可能保留用于同步的本地缓存文件。

删除 App 不会自动删除 iCloud 数据或已导出的备份。删除 iCloud 数据请使用 Apple 提供的 iCloud 储存空间管理功能（如可用）；如需协助，可通过下方渠道联系开发者。导出的备份和原始文件会保留在你保存的位置，直到你自行删除。请避免在支持请求中附上私人音乐文件或敏感个人信息。

政策更新与联系

政策变更会在本页面公布，并更新生效日期。如有隐私问题或需要删除协助，请联系 memtimen@gmail.com。

通过邮件联系开发者时，你的邮箱地址和主动提供的信息用于回复请求。支持邮件会在解决及跟进请求或履行法律义务所需的期限内保留。你可以通过邮件请求删除支持通信记录。请避免发送私人音乐文件或敏感个人信息。

本政策页面由 GitHub Pages 托管。GitHub 可能处理访客的网络信息以运行网站。页面不包含统计脚本、由本页面设置的 Cookie 或外部字体。
